Sister Bridge & Embracing Hope

Sister Bridge exists to support ministries for women in third-world countries through the sale of their handcrafted items to women here in the U.S.

Currently, I am working with Timbali Crafts in Swaziland and Papillon Marketplace in Haiti, which both help women have a chance to learn skills, work in a safe environment, hear about Jesus, and preserve their family unit in the midst of difficult circumstances.

I’m so proud of these women and so thankful to get to partner with them, bringing their beautiful gifts into the lives of friends here!

I have a Sister Bridge International Gift Shop in my home office, The Shalom Studio, here In Elizabethtown, Ky. Shop by appointment; please check out my Contact Me page! Also, I would love to come to local women’s retreats, conferences, or home parties!

Embracing Hope is a wonderful ministry that exists to help families in Ethiopia. In Addis Ababa, the capital city, EH has a daycare and school for children as well as job training and support for moms and dads. This is funded by a family sponsorship program. In a few surrounding villages, EH is now working with refugees, widows, and orphans in various ways. This is funded also through giving and donations.

I have personally spent time with the team doing these daily ministries in Ethiopia (and the precious people they serve) and I walked away even more dedicated to spread the word! They continue to reach out to new people with serious needs, making long-term relationships and staying in touch with tangible help, calls, and visits.

100% of the profit of Sister Bridge sales will go toward the ministry of Embracing Hope!!!!
